LVP - Low Visibilty Procedures

ATC-LVP will become effective in two stages in relation to weather conditions as specified below.
Avoidance of disturbances to the ILS signals are normally achieved by providing appropriate spacing between aircraft on final approach.
Activation is achieved via RTF or ATIS.

Arriving aircraft are vectored so as to ensure an intercept of the ILS at least 8nm from threshold.
ATC issues a clearance for ILS approach regardless of category flown.
Together with the approach clearance the surface wind (direction and velocity) and the actual RVR values will be transmitted.

Stage Minima Activation
1 (one) RVR TDZ: <1200m
Cloud Base/VV: <300ft
"LOW VISIBILTY PROCEDURES STAGE ONE IN OPERATION"
2 (two) RVR TDZ: <600m
Cloud Base/VV: <200ft
"LOW VISIBILTY PROCEDURES CAT II/III STAGE TWO IN OPERATION"
