== ATIS ==
ATIS steht für "Automatic Terminal Information Service" und ist ein Informationsdienst für Verkehrsflughäfen. Nähere Informationen über das ATIS System findet ihr [http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatic_Terminal_Information_Service hier]. In diesem Artikel wollen wir uns auf die ATIS im virtuellen Controllerleben der VACC Austria beschränken.

Auf VATSIM verwenden wir sowohl Text als auch Voice ATIS, d.h. die enthaltenen Informationen werden entweder per Text über das Netzwerk angefragt oder kontinuierlich von einem der Controller eines Airports auf einer eigenen ATIS-Frequenz durchgegeben. Dies funktioniert natürlich nach einer Aufnahme automatisch und sogar diese kann man sich z.B. mit dem Radarclient EuroScope ersparen. D.h. dieses liest das METAR regelmäßig aus und generiert dadurch und mittels vorgefertigter Sound-Dateien eine vollständige Voice ATIS. Wie dies im einzelnen zu konfigurieren ist, lest bitte selbst im Handbuch zum jeweiligen Client nach.

== ATIS Vorlagen ==
Damit wir in der gesamten VACC eine einheitliche ATIS verwenden, bitten wir euch folgende Vorlage zu verwenden. Eine Ausnahme stellt die Verfügbarkeit einer Voice-ATIS auf eurem Flughafen dar, denn dann reicht folgender Vermerk:

Solltet ihr keine Voice ATIS auf dem von euch (teilweise) kontrollierten Flughafen zur Verfügung haben, dann verwendet bitte für die jeweiligen Clients eine der folgenden Vorlagen. Der Text im Kasten kann komplett per Copy & Paste in den Client kopiert werden. Entsprechende Flughafen Details (TRL, TA, Runways, QNH-Variable und Designator) bitte entsprechend ändern.
