General

In order to pass your CPT, you need to prove your familiarity with the procedures at Vienna airport, and that you can handle normal operations safely. Your Mentor and an examiner - respectivly two examiner, if the mentor is not available - will monitor your activities and judge upon your skills. If heavy traffic persists, the examiner may open lower stations. Exams will be taken at daily regular traffic.


Formal requirements

  1. Completed briefing on the test station
  2. CPT requested and approved by mentor
  3. All knowlege of the previous levels is required
  4. Mental and pysical fitness on test day
  5. Time schedule with mentor and TD
  6. Arrangement made by trainee for "standby positon"

Formal procedure

  1. Pre-briefing with checkers on teamspeak 30 minutes prior to test
  2. Man the testing station
  3. Announcement of test start
  4. Accomplishing the test within 90 minutes or less
  5. Announcment of test end
  6. Checker's decision finding
  7. Feedback to trainee
  • Please note, in case of unforseen events or major faults, checkers may abort the CPT session.
