Study Guide for Euroscope
these tutorial should help new controller to install Euroscope in the correct way.
required files
you need to download following files
Installation
1. Install (Euroscope) in a path of your choice (We recommend to not install in "Program Files")
2. Install the beta files in your Euroscope folder
3. create a folder named "VACC-Austria" in your Euroscope path
4. install all Startup Files in these created Folder
First opening of Euroscope
Navigate into your Euroscope folder and execute Euroscope.exe
Now you could choose your Airport you want to control or LOVV if you want to do center.
If you didn't have the popup like in the pic above, click at the top bar at "other SET" and disable the heel at "Auto Load last Profile on Startup"
Close and save everything, thereafter restart Euroscope
you could switch the view with follow shortcuts
for airports
[F1]+[1] Approach-view
[F1]+[2] Tower-view
[F1]+[3] Ground-view
for LOVV
[F1]+[1] Center-view
[F1]+[2] Approach-view
[F1]+[3] LOWW_Ground-view
[F1]+[4] LOWI_Ground-view
[F1]+[5] LOWG_Ground-view
[F1]+[6] LOWK_Ground-view
[F1]+[7] LOWL_Ground-view
[F1]+[8] LOWS_Ground-view
If you have opened a view 1 time, you could also change the view with [F7] between the opened windows
setup the automatic updater
- press “OPEN SCT” thereafter “Download Sector Files ...”
- download "EuroScope main sector file provider"
- set the heel at row "A" at "Aeronav GNG Sector File Provider" and press download
– click on “AeroNav GNG LOVV Vacc Austria” and press Browse
navigate into the folder we create earlier and press save.
– press onto Update
– also set the heel "A" at “AeroNav GNG LOVV Vacc Austria” and press on download
– choose a Update at the lower Tabelle and press the lower download button
- LOVV_LOVV_Update (is only the Sectorfile and the ICAO codes)
- LOVV_LOVV_Full_Update (is the LOVV_LOVV_Update + your screen will be also updated)
- set the heel “A” of your choosen update
– now you are ready to start controlling
