Teamspeak is a voice chat client for the use of communication with friends, pilots and controllers, as well as a trainings tool. Teamspeak is further used for the coordination with other active ATC stations. Active ATC controllers are required to use Teamspeak while on station.

Teamspeak 2

Download the Teamspeak 2 Client and follow the installation routine.

  1. Open Teamspeak 2
  2. Select Connection in the menu bar
  3. Local Addressbook Tab
  4. Right mouse click
  5. Add  Server
  6. Name it into vacc-austria
  7. Now continue on the right side and fill in the following data:
Server: ts.vacc-austria.org
Nickname: <full name>
Registered: checked
Loginname: <VACC-Austria Username (full name)>
Password: <VACC-Austria password> 
  • Once connected, configure your audio devices. You will find it under Settings->Options and make sure that you have configured Push to Talk, you will find this option under Settings->Sound Input/Output Settings.

Currently not used by the vacc Austria.
